ABOUT THE EVENT
“Singers & Songbirds” is a debut 4-day songwriter festival featuring 30+ performers and 4 bands. The focal point of this event is our “Roots In The Round” series, which began in November of 2021 and ran bi-monthly for a total of 7 episodes with in person shows filmed and recorded, and later aired on various social media platforms.
The 2023 Roots In The Round event series will take place daily at The Old Jail during the course of the four days, with a total of 5 rounds. Before, after, and between rounds, we will also be hosting live interviews, song-swap sessions, solo performances, and full band shows at select locations throughout town. There will also be seasonally-based side-events which will be more focused on the locality and what Statesville has to offer!
